I bet it's related to having some old data in our registry which CDRWIN leaves behind for trial-period license enforcement, because I just installed this on my laptop (never had CDRWIN) and it worked fine, but on this computer and my old computer (being used as a media controller), both which had the trialware version installed before, then deleted, it refuses to accept the serial number. Mark Magill @ Krysta Albot: I figured the same thing which is why I ran the IOBIT uninstaller (which is usually great at rooting out leftovers) as well as CCleaner after trying all the 'normal' ways of doing it.
